Krka's 12th Week of Charity and Volunteering showcased the commitment of its volunteers to making a positive impact in various communities. Volunteers from Krka participated in activities aimed at supporting individuals and organizations across different regions.
In Novo mesto, Ljubljana, Ljutomer, and Skopje, volunteers began the week by donating blood. They engaged with members of the Novo mesto Intermunicipal Society of Blind and Partially Sighted through bowling and a reading circle called 'Reading in the dark'. The elderly residents in retirement homes across several locations enjoyed workshops, baking sessions, and music organized by Krka volunteers.
The Special Education Centre Elvira Vatovec in Strunjan benefited from a magic show and neighborhood walk organized for its residents. A picnic featuring horseback riding was held for participants from the Novo mesto Occupational Activity Centre and Polžek Society. Additionally, workshops were conducted at the Ljutomer Occupational Activity Centre.
Krka volunteer Betka Luštek led her team in performing 'The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats' for students at Novo mesto Dragotin Kette Primary School. Children received learning assistance from volunteers at the Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo mesto. The “Anita Ogulin and ZPM” Association learned about Eastern European countries where Krka operates.
In Czechia, Krka employees organized a charity bazaar collecting clothes along with a sock drive to aid cancer patients. Belarus saw tree planting efforts alongside support for children with special needs centers. In Russia, help was extended to orphanages, shelters, and wildlife affected by an oil spill in the Black Sea. TAD Pharma employees planted honey plants while Turkmenistan's volunteers gathered necessities for animal shelters.
Uzbekistan witnessed a clean-up campaign led by Krka staff whereas North Macedonia continued blood donation initiatives. In Italy, collaboration persisted with Banco Farmaceutico Foundation to ensure access to medicines through charitable efforts.
