Aegean Airlines S.A., a major Greek commercial airline, recently augmented its “Miles+Bonus” frequent flyer program via new affiliation with several facilities in Ioannina, a multicultural city, capital of Epirus and prime vacation destination in northwestern Greece.
 
Travelers now can earn award miles, special discounts and other benefits by staying in one of over seven Ioannina hotels or patronizing selected eateries and lounges in the city. With each meal, shopping trip or visit to designated venues, presenting one’s Miles+Bonus card will garner extra perks.
 
Program participants can accumulate miles or redeem their mileage for free lodging by staying at any of these participating hotels: Hotel Du Lac Congress Center & Spa, Grand Serai Congress & Spa Hotel, Hotel Kalari Heritage, Epirus Palace Hotel, Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas, Astra Inn and Papaevangelou Hotel.
 
Additionally, visitors can earn credit at Mikro Papigko 1700 Hotel & Spa and Zagori Suites of the Trésor Hotels & Resorts.
 
Restaurants in the program comprise Frontzou Politia, EQUUS+, Motley coffeesweet, OASIS patisserie, Presvia, Salvia, Stoa Louli, Seirios and Goody’s; special excursions consist of the Ali Pasha museum, the Cave of Perama and the Alpine zone, featuring rafting, hiking and other attractions.
