Yulian Mirkov named deputy director for Bulgarian customs agency

Yulian Mirkov has been named the new deputy director of the customs agency for Bulgaria, according to a Ministry of Finance press release.

Mirkov was appointed by Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov and was recommended by agency director Georgi Kostov.

Mirkov replaces Bozhidar Aleksov in the role. Mirkov earned a master’s degree in economic logistics and has worked with customs since 2014 in various roles. He most recently served as deputy director of Stolichna Customs House; before that he was head of the Svilengrad Customs House.
