Global Custodian magazine recently ranked Vojvodjanska banka as Serbia’s top custody services provider for foreign financial institutions based on the annual Agent Banking in Frontier Markets survey.

“The fifth recognition in a row by one of the most influential world magazines is a great honor for us, but also confirmation that we have maintained our leader position in providing custody services,” Vojvodjanska banka Executive Board Member Xenofon Damaskos said in a press release. “We have received the highest scores and achieved best results in these countries.”

The designation recognizes Vojvodjanska banka’s excellence in keeping and administering securities and related financial resources on behalf of foreign financial institutions. This includes revenue collections and complex corporate services necessitated by the nature of domestic and foreign securities ownership.

Vojvodjanska banka was the top ranked custody service providers in all segments and all countries covered by the survey. Global Custodian magazine conducts its survey each year, providing a gauge for quality, security, efficiency and professionalism of banks offering custody services.

“We will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and persevere in developing the most advanced systems for providing services, in order to once again be the best next year and in the top of this important list,” Damaskos said.
