Vojvodjanska Banka and Gallery of Matica srpska recently were honored for responsibility in culture

at a celebration hosted by Diplomacy & Commerce magazine, according to a press release on the bank’s website.

Vojvodjanska Banka owns more than 600 works of art that were purchased largely from Serbian creators. The Gallery of Matica srpska will catalog all the art for the bank over the next two years, and then the paintings will be on display to the public.

Vojvodjanska Banka and the Gallery of Matica srpska signed a cooperative agreement for the project, according to the release. As part of the agreement, the bank will offer $45,312.12 to help rebuild the facade of the gallery. The gallery has been rebuilding parts of its entry area and has added an elevator for guests with disabilities.
