Employees of Vojvodanska Banka recently participated in Just Not by Car, a car-free day designed to increase awareness about the importance of health and the environment.

The initiative was organized by the Heinrich Bol foundation and bicycling groups Bajsologija and Ulica za bicikliste, according to a press release. The goal of the car-free campaign was to have workers travel to their jobs on foot or by bicycle, promoting sustainable transportation in order to protect the environment.

The bank supported the initiative because it is in alignment with its vision of corporate responsibility, according to the press release.

Last year, the event took place in September with more 450 individuals participating from 45 companies and organizations.
