United Bulgarian Bank issued the following announcement on May 3.

The innovative digital art exhibition “Digital Ink”, owned by UBB, will be on display at UBB Gallery on 5th St. Sofia Street until May 10, 2019. The six paintings that come to life thanks to a mobile application are accessible to all wishing to enjoy the added reality of the graphics. Entrance is free for guests at the gallery every weekday and Saturday.

The debut of the exhibition took place during the presentation of the multibranding – the new functionality of the mobile application UBB Mobile. The exhibition attracted the interest of the guests with the impressive works of Boryana Doncheva, Ivan Mateev and Zoran Mishe, as well as the specially created picture of Zlatka Uzunova, inspired by UBB Mobile application. All sails come to life and reveal unexpected added reality by special application. The added reality complements the story of each of the works and gives new possibilities for interpretation and experience of art. Spontaneous feedback from visitors is evidence of the impact that innovation has on people. An additional challenge is also the UBB’s virtual activation, known from a series of mobile mobile ad clips, in which the main characters are an Eskimo family. The interior of the icy dwelling can be viewed after guests have a dedicated virtual portal.

After 10 May 2019, fans of innovative ideas will have the chance to enjoy Digital Ink pictures in two metropolitan shopping malls. On May 11th and 12th, the exhibition will be staged in Paradise Mall, and on May 18th and 19th, 2019, she will be in “Serdika Center”. Added reality images then begin their tour around the country.

The animation of the works is made possible by the efforts of Zlatka Uzunova and Dimo Chetrov from “Laboratory Virtual and Extended Reality – Sofia Tech Park”, led by Prof. Stoyan Maleshkov. For them, the “movement” of works is an opportunity to combine creativity and technology into a common work of art.

Making the future a part of today’s reality is a challenge that UBB is willing to accept with the conviction that innovation is applicable in all spheres of modern life. The implementation of a wide range of innovative solutions is part of UBB’s vision for development and improvement.
