UNITED BULGARIAN BANK: Replacement of credit cards, issued by CIBANK JSC, with new conditions and improved functionalities

United Bulgarian Bank issued the following announcement on Sept. 2

After the legal merger of CIBANK JSC (CIBANK) into United Bulgarian Bank AD (UBB) at the beginning of 2018 we continue along the integration road with new products and services, tailored to your needs and aimed to ensure fast, easy, convenient and secure banking with even more options.
To this end we would like to inform you that with effect from 16 September 2019 UBB is going you offer you a new revolving credit card of the Mastercard® brand. You will be able to replace with it your existing credit card, issued by CIBANK and take advantage of the new card’s beneficial terms and improved functionalities. The amount of the provided to you credit limit under the CIBANK card will remain the same.

More details about the terms and conditions and the replacement process are contained in a personal letter, which we will send to your mailing address, provided to the Bank. You could also obtain additional information from UBB’s Contact Centre at 0 700 117 17 or *7171 (for mobile operator subscribers);

To make it easier for you your new credit card will be issued in advance, as you may receive it and respectively sign the needed documents after 16 September 2019 at your servicing branch. Additionally, UBB is going to send an SMS notification to the mobile phone number, stated by you.

Please, note that the credit card, issued by CIBANK, will be active until 17.11.2019. If you do not wish to use the opportunities, offered by the new revolving Mastercard-branded credit card from UBB you may continue servicing your obligations as agreed in your contract with CIBANK. However, you will not be able to effect operations with the card and the drawdown of additional amounts from the credit limit will be discontinued.
If as of 18.11.2019 you have no obligations on your credit card issued by CIBANK, it will be deactivated and closed.
