UBB launches API Developer Portal in Test Environment

United Bulgarian Bank issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.

In conjunction with the revised version of the PSD2, United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) launched an API Developer Portal, accessible from the Bank’s home page: https: /www.ubb.bg/    

The updated directive has been transposed into the Payment and Payment Systems Act (PSPS) and provides for all payment service providers to provide access to their testing environment for external developers (TPPs or third party providers).

On UBB’s corporate website, all interested users, information and payment service providers, fintech companies, and others will find a link to the API Developer Portal. There are full instructions for the provision and use of the portal services.

The implementation of the new regulatory standards for all ISPs becomes mandatory from 14 September 2019.
