Republic of Srpska officials, including Deputy Prime
Minister Anton Kasipovic and Minister of Administration and Local
Self-Government Lejla Resic, recently met with trade union leaders to discuss
their joint concerns and actions for 2017.

Kasipovic and Resic spoke with Trade Union of RS Public
Administration President Tomislav Vrhovac, Trade Union of RS MoI President
Anica Jondic and Trade Union of the RS Judiciary President Sinisa Petrovic.
Governmental officials will later host employer representatives for a similar
dialogue.

Primary issues on the table at the meeting included
allowances, such as the allowance for transportation, and general collective
agreement activities, which the parties agreed should be intensified. Both
government and trade union officials determined that analyses should be made
for both, with another meeting organized when they are complete, which is
projected for the end of January or early February.

Kasipovic and Resic also requested that the trade unions
submit suggestions on the proposed Work Program of the Government and RS
National Assembly.
