To enliven festivities for children and special needs citizens — and in a spirit of gratitude for its own abundance — Belgrade-based Raiffeisen
Bank recently made holiday season contributions totaling KM 45.000 to several institutions
in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

“These projects would not have been possible without full understanding
of our customers, so I use this opportunity to express our gratefulness for
every day trust they place with us,” Raiffeisen Bank Management Board Chairman Karlheinz Dobnigg said.

Raiffeisen Bank donated various amounts to facilities
located in five communities, allotting KM (Convertible Marka) 7,500 to the “Pelica”
kindergarten in Orašje for Catholic Christmas and KM 7,500 to the
Association of Parents of Children with Physical and Mental Disabilities
“Neven” in Prnjavor for Orthodox Christmas.

“We are pleased to share the joy of the festive season with
others, especially with the youngest members of our society,” Dobnigg said. “Therefore
… we have made donations to … institutions focused on children and persons with
special needs. I honestly hope that this will make their everyday life easier.”

Additionally, the bank made individual donations of KM
10,000 to the association “A Heart for Children with Cancer in FB&H” based at
the Koševo Children’s Clinic in Sarajevo; “Association for Support of People
with Disabilities” in the city of Banja Luka; and “SOS Children’s Village”
in Sarajevo.

“We will continue
with our support to the local community through numerous projects in 2017,” Dobnigg
said. “This extends to … financial support and volunteer work by the bank’s
employees.”

Established in 2001, Raiffeisen Banka was the first
bank founded in Serbia with 100 percent foreign capital.
