In a recent address to shareholders, Martina Dalić, President of the Management Board of Podravka Inc., highlighted the company’s significant achievements in 2024. She emphasized that Podravka not only achieved historic results in revenue and profit but also made substantial strategic advancements.
A key highlight was the acquisition of agricultural companies Belje, Vupik, and PIK Vinkovci, which led to the creation of a new business pillar called Agriculture or Podravka Agri. This move positioned Podravka as a major player in Croatian agriculture, taking responsibility for over 3% of all arable land in Croatia.
Dalić expressed gratitude to shareholders for their trust and support. “Credit for all that we accomplish goes to you as well,” she stated. As of now, Podravka has 12,399 shareholders who are regularly informed about company activities through various channels.
The financial performance of the company was robust, with sales revenues reaching EUR 766.5 million—a 7.4% increase from the previous year—and net profit amounting to EUR 73.9 million. The EBITDA exceeded EUR 100 million for the first time in history.
Podravka’s strategy remains export-oriented with significant growth reported in international markets such as Germany and North America. In Pharmaceuticals, Belupo recorded an increase in both foreign and domestic sales despite challenging conditions.
Investments were also made into production facilities and digital transformation projects like SAP S/4HANA implementation across 23 companies within the group.
Looking ahead, Dalić outlined plans for continued investment into agriculture and pharmaceuticals sectors along with maintaining sustainable growth practices including renewable energy initiatives like solar power projects contributing towards green transition goals set by Croatian industry standards.
