The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) of Greece recently celebrated the
arrival of the first passenger ship of 2017, the Blue Star Delos, with PPA
executives boarding the ship and giving out an honorary plaque and gifts.

“(W)e honor the Greek seamen who daily struggle in
difficult conditions and contribute to the development of the country,”
Management Consultant Athanasios Liagkos, who is on the PPA board of
directors, said while speaking with the Blue Star Delos’ captain.

PPA management and executives marked another first in 2017 — the entrance of the Costa Luminosa, the port’s first
cruise ship to arrive this year.
