As part of its work to support Greek entrepreneurship, Piraeus Bank recently launched its 360° Funding portal, which allows Greek companies to find national and European Union (EU) grant programs that they can take advantage of.

Businesses ranging from small and medium enterprises to individual freelancers and farmers can use the portal, which covers programs like Greece’s NSRF and Agricultural Program and the EU’s HORIZON 2020. The portal is open all entrepreneurs, not just Piraeus Bank customers, but those who bank with Piraeus Bank will also benefit from portal suggestions on Piraeus products that could work in combination with the grant programs they are searching.

The bank was inspired to create the portal after experiencing the gap between institutional and business owner knowledge about these programs, according to a Piraeus Bank release. The information available to entrepreneurs before the portal was fragmented, difficult to find and often hard to understand. With 360° Funding, Piraeus hopes to make it easier for those who need these programs to access them.

The portal includes a search function for funding programs, news and customized newsletters, customized email and SMS updates on new programs and guides to EU programs.
