Open house marks opening of BVB trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) marked its official opening of the trading session April 27, with a morning open house. 

The open house was set up so people could meet with pension fund managers from Romania. The BVB and managers opened the stock exchange session highlight the importance of the capital market and diversifying investments. This ‘Investment Spring’ program is part of a series by the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The event included speeches from the CEO of BVB, Ludwik Sobolewski, and the president of BVB, Lucian Anghel. The day also included presentations about pension funds from the CEO of Allianz-Tiriac Pensii Private, Iulius Postolache and Corina Cucoli, CEO of Certinvest Pensii. The morning ended with a debate moderated by pension fund managers and Anghel followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session.
