National Bank of Greece elects new non-executive director

Eva Cederbalk has been elected as a non-executive director of The National Bank of Greece SA.

Cederbalk replaces Efthimios Goat and was chosen by the bank’s board of directors according to the statutes of the bank and corporate governance regulations.

Cederbalk has extensive international banking experience, and has been a board member or senior executive for other international financial institutions.

Per banking regulations, the election of Cederbalk and others by the board of directors is subject to the approval of the Single Supervisory Mechanism of the European Central Bank.
