Invest Europe recently hired Marc Nahum as director of membership, a new position designed to deepen relationships with the group’s 650 members and with fund managers and investors around Europe.

This is Invest Europe’s first major hire since Michael Collins became CEO two months ago.

“I am delighted to join Invest Europe to promote its critical role in the private equity industry and engage with its wide network of members,” Nahum said.

Nahum has more than 15 years of experience in private equity fundraising and investor relations. He has worked with Actis, DB Private Equity, The Carlyle Group and Credit Suisse. He earned his master’s degree in management from the ESSEC in France and his MBA from the University of Chicago.

“Invest Europe provides an invaluable range of services for our members and this new senior role will deepen our engagement with fund managers and investors across the continent,” Collins said. “Marc’s significant industry experience and contacts will be an enormous asset to the team.”

Invest Europe is an association of investment funds that provides information on private capital investment, including forecasts, industry trends and developments, throughout Europe, including the Balkan peninsula.
