A company called Emit Knowledge wants to enhance how companies approach software development with web-based coding and research solutions.
“Our motivation and dream is to make the world a better place,” Emit Knowledge’s CEO Marjan Nikolovski told Balkan Business Wire.
The company has been in business for years, Nikolovski said.
In that time, he said that Emit Knowledge has seen significant success, partly as a result of implementing and practicing its core values: people, self-improvement and focus.
“We are working with people who have successful businesses,” Nikolovski said. “We believe that being trustworthy, honest and always achieving more than expected makes us strong partners for our client businesses.”
Emit Knowledge is located in Macedonia, and Nikolovski is positive about the company’s launch in that country. Macedonia is an easy place to do business, he said, and there are other positives, too.
“I would say the strongest positive (of Macedonia) is its people,” Nikolovski said. “We have a friendly and strong collaborative culture. Besides the ease of doing business, Macedonia is a hidden gem in the Balkans. We have great nature, awesome natural food and heritage.”
As for the company’s future, Nikolovski said the company hopes to become more involved in research on cutting-edge advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence. A five-year plan involves that sort of focus.
At Emit Knowledge, client companies can get a range of different types of assistance, from user interface design to either proprietary or open source code base work. Company products like Spark, a “solar system explorer,” help with research around interplanetary travel and observation. A “research labs” component helps web visitors dig in to find out more about what the company offers.
The success of this tech startup is just one more example of how an emerging tech hub in countries like Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria is redefining modernity in the Balkans.
