The Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) recently held a workshop to promote social media use as a means of making positive change in the world.

Representatives of Civica Mobilitas organizations that received grants attended the workshop. Participants learned about social media and how it can be best implemented, according to a press release. Global social media expert Simon Forrester led the workshop.

“What we learned will certainly apply in the forthcoming process of recruitment of new members, promoting events, establishing new collaborations and will serve in improving the internal capacity,” Stephanie Spirovska of the Youth Educational Forum said in the release.

The Youth Educational Forum helps unify youth from different ethnicities and educate health professionals about dealing with marginalized individuals.
