On November 7, 2025, the LNG Terminal in Omišalj completed its commissioning and trial process, marking the successful integration of a new regasification module. This addition features one train with a maximum natural gas sendout of 250,000 cubic meters per hour. During the trial phase, various operational scenarios were tested for both the new and existing modules, including system failures and safety settings across the entire regasification system.

With this upgrade, the terminal’s total maximum capacity has increased from 3.9 billion to 6.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually. On November 8, just one day after full operation began with the new module, the facility set a daily record by sending out nine million cubic meters of natural gas—equivalent to approximately 96 GWh—into Croatia’s transmission system. This figure represents the highest daily dispatch since the LNG Terminal started operations.

A statement from project representatives expressed appreciation for support received: “We would like to thank the Government of the Republic of Croatia for its assistance during the implementation of this project, as well as the crew of the FSRU vessel LNG Croatia for their dedicated work, particularly during the challenging times at the shipyard.”
