Twenty years ago, Krka introduced its first medicine containing perindopril, an active ingredient widely used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Since then, the company has focused on providing safe and effective treatments that address individual patient needs.

Krka has expanded its product line to include single-pill combinations that blend perindopril with one or two other active ingredients. According to the company, these developments have simplified treatment regimens and improved outcomes for patients managing hypertension.

Currently, nearly five million people use Krka’s perindopril-based medicines daily to control their blood pressure. The company describes this as both a significant responsibility and evidence of its impact in the field.

In a statement marking the anniversary, Krka said: “As we mark this important anniversary, we would like to thank everyone who places their trust in Krka’s perindoprils. We extend our sincere gratitude to doctors, pharmacists, and all healthcare professionals whose expertise and dedication ensure that our medicines reach those who need them most. We also reaffirm our commitment to developing medicines that improve quality of life and support better health through professionalism, innovation, and unwavering dedication.”
