KPMG’s global network was recently recognized as a Vanguard Leader by ALM Intelligence, formerly Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory, for its cutting-edge work in cloud-based HR solutions.

The ALM report, HR Technology Advisory Services, scores various providers’ services and outlines market trends as consulting needs move to cloud-based HR. KPMG firms, including those in the Balkans, were among the few to receive this distinction.

“KPMG differentiates through the strength of the KPMG Powered HR platform of consulting assets and preconfigured technology solutions for migrating HR to the cloud,” ALM Intelligence Analyst Liz DeVito said. “Client feedback stresses KPMG member firms’ ability to deliver within very tight timeframes and credits the senior advisory consulting model with building and sustaining trust throughout highly complex HR technology projects.”

The ALM report also indicated that cloud-based human resources solutions are becoming more widely accepted as a replacement to on-site HR solutions. KPMG undertook a survey last year in which 42 percent of respondents planned to replace their existing HR systems with cloud-based options.

“No one disputes the potential value of the cloud,” Mark Spears, global head of people and change for KPMG International, said. “It’s important to work with a provider with skill in change management and familiarity with the critical steps that help ensure a successful migration. KPMG member firms have the business and HR experience to help organizations make the most of their HR technology investments, while helping them to avoid common implementation pitfalls and get more value from the cloud.”
