The Intereuropa Group recently celebrated its 70th anniversary with a celebration at Hotel Bernardin in Portoroz, Slovenia, and a strong performance in the group’s revenue and profit reports for the first quarter.

In the first quarter, the group posted sales revenues of $39.6 million and a net profit of $1 million. Those figures represent a 5 percent and 27 percent growth year on year, respectively.

Intereuropa’s recent successes are the result of the company’s sound course and corporate strategy, and the company highlighted how it has grown over the past seven decades during its 70th anniversary celebrations, according to the release.

Beginning as a small company in the “B Zone” of the Free Territory of Trieste (STO), the Intereuropa Group today encompasses 1,400 employees spread throughout 12 subsidiaries and nine countries.
