Greek finance minister meets with creditors’ representatives

Greece Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos recently met with
creditor’s representatives in Brussels, where he maintained
the Greek position on discussions surrounding the country’s bailout program.

Tsakalotos and Alternate Finance Minister Giorgos
Houliarakis met with representatives including Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Klaus
Regling, Benoît Cœuré, Marco Buti and Thomas Wieser. The Greek side maintained
that the country met its fiscal goals for 2016 and impressed upon the
creditors’ representatives that discussions on the Greek program are occurring
at the highest political level.
