Fresh Corner is marking its 10th anniversary this year, having sold 65 million cups of coffee and 43 million hot dogs across Europe in the past year alone. If these hot dogs were laid end to end, they would stretch from Zagreb to New York.

The brand was launched in 2015 with the goal of enhancing travelers’ experiences and has since grown into a major retail chain with over 1,300 locations throughout Europe.

In Croatia, Fresh Corner’s offerings are available at 167 INA and Tifon retail outlets. The products, including coffee, pizza wraps, hot dogs, and sandwiches, can be found at more than 250 locations nationwide. Last year saw the sale of 8.53 million cups of coffee at INA outlets and an additional 1.87 million at Tifon’s outlets. The INA Vukova Gorica location holds the record for most coffees sold annually at nearly 350,000 cups.

Beyond fixed locations, Fresh Corner also operates a mobile truck that brings its products to events across Croatia.

Zdravka Demeter Bubalo, Operating Director of Consumer Services & Retail at INA, commented on the milestone: “Over the past ten years, Fresh Corner has become a key part of the modernization of our retail outlets – we have transformed classic stops into a new experience that includes quality coffee, delicious food and fast service.”

The first Fresh Corner opened in Hungary in 2015 followed by Croatia’s inaugural outlet at Tifon Jankomir in Zagreb later that year. By the next year, annual sales reached 40 million cups of coffee. By 2018 there were 500 locations in nine countries; by 2021 there were over a thousand.

Péter Ratatics from MOL Group noted: “Fresh Corner is not only a story of a successful brand but also proof of how MOL is transforming from a classic fuel retailer into a modern service provider that responds to the needs of mobility and modern consumers.”

To celebrate its decade-long journey, Fresh Corner has planned various activities throughout the year including special offers at Tifon locations and benefits through INA’s Loyalty program.
