Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD has responded to recent public statements made by representatives of two trade union organizations. The company emphasized its adherence to employees’ rights as defined by law.

According to the management, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD is in full compliance with the current Collective Labor Agreement (CLA), which was signed by all unions last year and remains valid until December 31, 2025. The company stated that negotiations for a new CLA covering 2026 will begin in October 2025, following established practices and in coordination with union organizations.

The company addressed media allegations regarding its relationship with unions, describing them as unexpected. “The allegations declared in the media are surprising, given that open dialogue with trade unions has never been interrupted, and mutual exchange continues. In line with established good practices, following our long-standing tradition and amicable relationship, the company seeks constructive dialogue and proactively approaches the unions,” the statement read.

Management also outlined benefits provided to employees. “As social responsible employer we provide to all our employees a comprehensive package of social benefits, including food vouchers, supplementary health insurance, free company transport, extended insurance coverage, and one-off allowances for marriage and childbirth. A dedicated program further promotes work-life balance and supports employees’ sports activities,” according to the official statement.

Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing communication with trade union organizations at Varna and Burgas Airports. “Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD remains committed to maintaining an open and constructive dialogue with all trade union organizations active at Varna and Burgas Airports,” the statement concluded.
