Funds collected through Eurobank Big Heart cards contributed to a recent project to renovate the playground for children in Cika Jova Zmaj preschool’s “Mila Jevtovic” kindergarten in Belgrade’s Voždovac precinct.

“It always gives us enormous pleasure when, together with the users of our affinity card Big Heart, we make children happy,” Zeljka Ciric Jakovljevic, Eurobank’s head of marketing and corporate communications, said in a press release. “Through play, children learn about the world around them, and therefore their playspace should be safe. By investing in their carefree childhood, we invest in our future.”

In addition to renovating the playground, the project installed rubber mats to ensure a safe environment for the children. It was made possible in conjunction with the Anna and Vlade Divac Foundation.

“There is no greater joy than seeing children playing and laughing because only happy children become happy and satisfied adults,” Ana Divac, Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation managing board chairwoman, said. “Therefore, we will provide help whenever it is needed so as to improve conditions and provide the youngest with better-quality upbringing and education. We are proud of the fact that ‘Big Heart’ is one of the longest standing and most recognizable projects carried out in cooperation with our partners from Eurobank.”
