Croatian Postal Bank issued the following announcement on July 10.

We are witnessing uninterrupted changes in the labor market. The challenge is for employees who need to develop new skills and knowledge, but also on employers who need to invest constantly in their employees and take care of their job satisfaction. New jobs are emerging, but also employers’ difficulties – what do they hire and what employees expect?

Aware of global trends and visions of responsible behavior towards employees and the community, Hrvatska poštanska banka has joined the Employer 3.0 platform, which will bring together the latest and most important trends from the world of HR, to introduce employers that best suit the needs of employees.

Online portal platform 24sata.hr was officially launched on Wednesday, July 10, at the Employer 3.0 conference, which brought together respectable companies and distinguished guests, and HPB as the employer in the future presented to President Tomislav Vuić and HR Director Ana Đidar.

Ana Đidara’s panel on ‘Working for Youth’ highlighted that it is good for young people to have bigger wishes and to look for more because they encourage better working conditions: ‘It is good for the organization that young people have higher expectations because we have to change things better as well. We are trying to combine security and creativity. It is important for us to have satisfied employees, and it is important for our clients to see a satisfied person who cares about their financial future. ‘

Tomislav Vuić with the presentation “Why it’s great to work at HPB” talked about the benefits and disadvantages of working in the largest state-owned bank. He said that banking is losing importance because of the increasing influence of Fintech, so the banker is no longer super sexy. Also, HPB said it was an institution with no bonuses, but said it is a stimulating environment that constantly looks for ways to motivate employees for better work, achievement and creativity. “More than others, we have to try to keep employees, if we want to have a great atmosphere and results,” he said, citing the benefits that HPB offers to its employees.

“Unlike international banks and their complex decision making, HPB can be much faster and more creative.” he said. In that context, as an extremely important one, he emphasized freedom and emphasized that we are the only obstacle for ourselves. He called on everyone who thinks they can be creative, active, and help create the conditions for a better life in Croatia, which is HPB’s mission to join us.
