Croatia Airlines has announced the arrival of its fifth new Airbus A220 aircraft in Zagreb. The aircraft, registered as 9A-CAN and named Osijek, can seat 149 passengers. It arrived from the Airbus facility in Mirabel, Canada.
The national carrier now operates five new Airbus A220s as it enters the peak of the 2025 tourist season. These aircraft will be used on new seasonal routes from Zagreb to Hamburg, Bucharest, Milan, Madrid, and Prague starting next week.
Croatia Airlines expects two more A220 aircraft deliveries by the end of this year. The fleet renewal project is set to conclude in 2027 with a total of fifteen new Airbus A220 aircraft – thirteen A220-300s and two A220-100s.
