Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recently
clarified its pricing structure for companies seeking to be listed on its
exchange, highlighting processing, admission and yearly maintenance fees for
both the main market and AeRO, its market for small- and medium-sized enterprises.

Framing itself as a bridge between
companies and investors, BVB said that being listed on the stock exchange is
an important step in the growth of a business looking to expand operations
through increased capital, according to a press release. To make the process of getting listed on the
exchange more transparent for businesses, BVB delineated the range of costs
that a business might expect, although it specifically said that those fees only
cover what is paid to BVB and not broker fees or VAT.

According to BVB, a company wishing to join
the main market will pay an admission fee ranging from $840.38 to $4,904.49,
based on shareholder’s equity, as well as a processing fee of $280.26. The maintenance fee varies and is determined based on a specific formula.

AeRO
is dedicated to allowing SMEs to find investors and increase capital, so
membership is offered at lower rates. The admission fee is set at $163.41, with
a processing fee of $58.39 and annual maintenance fees, paid after the first
year, of $466.88.

BVB currently has 86 companies listed on
the main market, and 275 companies have gone public on AeRO.
