During World Investor Week, which took place from October 6 to 10, 2025, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) participated in the global campaign organized by the World Federation of Exchanges. The event, held under the motto “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy,” aimed to promote financial education.

On October 7, fourth-year Finance students from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) visited the BSE as part of a partnership between the two institutions. The students were accompanied by their lecturers, Prof. Dr Silvia Trifonova, Prof. Dr Todor Nedev, and Assist. Prof. Dr Ivaylo Taskov.

During their visit, students observed trading processes and daily operations at the Stock Exchange. They were introduced to BSE’s activities and its role in Bulgaria’s capital market by Radoslav Zhelyazov, Director of the Listing and Membership Directorate; Nadya Lazarova, Investor Relations Director; Dr Snezhana Yotinska, Senior Expert in the Corporate Development Directorate; and Ivan Valentinov, Expert in the Listing and Membership Directorate.

The BSE Advance educational program is part of BSE’s ongoing efforts to support education and practical training for young people. According to BSE representatives: “Enhancing financial literacy remains one of BSE’s key strategic priorities and a core element of its mission, given its vital importance for the sustainable development of the capital market.”
