On June 12, 2025, the eleventh edition of the Equity Day initiative will take place. This event is organized by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Central Depository. Its purpose is to enhance investment literacy in Bulgaria and encourage individual investors to explore capital market opportunities.

During Equity Day, individuals have the chance to trade without fees or commissions. They can buy and sell shares and structured products on BSE’s regulated market, including the BEAM growth market. The opportunity allows for up to 15 transactions per person, with each order capped at a volume of BGN 2,000 or its equivalent in euros based on the Bulgarian National Bank’s exchange rate.

The initiative includes all instruments admitted to trading on various segments such as Premium, Standard, and EuroBridge Market Segments. It also covers exchange-traded products on the Main BSE Market, BaSE Alternative Market, and SME Growth Market BEAM.

A list of investment intermediaries partnering with BSE and the Central Depository for this initiative is available on the BSE website under Investor Relations -> Equity Day. These intermediaries will waive standard transaction fees for their customers who are natural persons.
