Bulgarian National Bank releases gold commemorative coin

The Bulgarian National Bank has released a gold commemorative coin into circulation, according to a press release from the bank.

The coin is considered investment gold and will be sold at BNB bank branches for $508.48, excluding VAT.
 
The front of the coin has the BNB logo and the year 1879 as the main design, along with the words “Bulgarian National Bank.” The value of 100 levs is also stamped on it as well as the year 2017.

The reverse side features an image of the Virgin Mary and Archangel Gabriel telling her about immaculate conception. The inscription “Annunciation” is above the image of the two figures.
