Bulgarian National Bank issued the following announcement.

Procedure for obtaining a report

A reference electronically from the Register of Bank Accounts and Safes (RBSS) can be obtained by a natural person who has a qualified certificate for qualified electronic signature (KUKEP). The KUKEP issued by a licensed Bulgarian certification service provider must contain the PIN of the natural person.

 Technical requirements

KUKEP to be successfully installed according to the instructions set by the selected certification service provider.

In order to use the service, it is necessary to get acquainted with the Manual for use of electronic services from the information system of RBSS .

 Methods of payment and deadlines for making inquiries electronically

Pursuant to Ordinance № 12 on RBSS, inquiries electronically for information from the register are provided free of charge to individuals within 14 days, and in a shorter period against payment of a fee, as follows: Fees for inquiries from the Register of Bank Accounts and safes .

The terms for making inquiries run within the working hours of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) from 8:30 to 17:00, after the registration with the BNB of the request for inquiries.

The due fee for issuing a report electronically by RBSS is paid in advance through a virtual POS terminal device, available on the BNB website, by debit or credit card of Visa, Mastercard or Bcard.

 Protection of personal data

The BNB is the controller of personal data pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC. EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Personal Data Protection Act.

The personal data and documents provided by you are protected in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act and are processed for the purposes of Art. 56a of the Credit Institutions Act.

The Policy of the Bulgarian National Bank on Personal Data Processing contains the general provisions and principles according to which the BNB processes personal data.
