Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (BACB) has begun its rollout of the most up-to-date contactless chip cards to its customers.

The cards meet international security requirements while offering added convenience to card users.

Those signing up for the card will receive a free special password for secure internet payments. Cards can be sent via courier or picked up at a BACB branch.

The cards also offer the option of sending a PIN and password to a mobile phone so the cardholder is notified every time the card is used.

BACB debit cards are free and have no maintenance fees. There are also no fees for using the cards within or beyond Bulgaria, nor are there fees for cash withdrawals from any Bulgarian ATM.

The credit cards offer up to 50 days to repay debts, including cash withdrawals. BACB also offers a cashback program for both personal and business credit cards. The bank regularly holds special drawings and promotions to offer special rewards to its customers.

Contactless cards use radio frequency identification to make secure payments.
