Bulgaria’s national carrier, Bulgaria Air, is organizing a second Open Day for cabin crew and pilots due to high interest and success. The event will take place on 30 September at 3:30 p.m. at the Bulgaria Air building located at 1 Brussels Blvd. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the professions of flight attendants and pilots.

Pilots and cabin crew members from Bulgaria Air will be present to answer questions such as what it feels like to fly across Europe in a week or to operate a brand new aircraft fresh from the manufacturer.

During the Open Day, attendees can meet airline representatives and inquire about civil aviation professions with an experienced pilot – flight commander, and a senior air hostess – cabin crew manager. The event will also showcase current vacancies for air hosts and hostesses, as well as commanders and co-pilots who may get the chance to operate the modern Airbus A220 aircraft recently added to Bulgaria Air’s fleet. Candidates do not need specific qualifications for this aircraft type at present.

The Open Day aims to give young people a glimpse into aviation careers and encourage them to take their first steps toward working in this field. Full terms, conditions of announced positions for pilots and cabin crew members, and application procedures are available in the Careers section of Bulgaria Air’s official website.
