Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) and Radio Romania Actualitati (RRA) have signed an agreement to boost the information framework while supporting and promoting financial literacy nationwide, according to a

BVB press release.

“People associate the stock exchange with a buy and sell environment, which is self-evident, but there is more to it than that,

BVB CEO Ludwik Sobolewski, said in the release. “The stock exchange is also about partnerships and trustworthiness and we are at the forefront of these concepts in the capital market. We are delighted to have signed the partnership with the leading radio station.”

RRA will cover key stock exchange events such as the Individual Investors Forum and entrepreneurship events featuring Romanian companies.

“In an increasingly dynamic market, the role of the Bucharest Stock Exchange evolves accordingly: on one hand it supports the financing process in Romania while increasing the value of the local companies, on the other hand it is an indicator of the economic health of the Romanian market,”

Dan Preda, director of RRA, said. “It only came natural for Radio Romania Actualitati as the leading radio station to become a reliable partner in this process.”
