Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (BOV), Malta’s largest banking institution, has selected Profile Software’s Axia Suite to enhance its portfolio management and investment services operations. The decision marks a strategic move to improve operational efficiency in various divisions such as Asset Management, Private Banking, and Prestige Client Networks.

Headquartered in Santa Venera, BOV is Malta’s oldest and largest bank, offering a comprehensive range of financial services. The adoption of Axia Suite will streamline the bank’s investment management processes and reinforce its commitment to high-quality client service.

Axia Suite offers centralized portfolio management and client profiling modules, enabling BOV to better understand client goals. It provides tools for portfolio restrictions, modeling, rebalancing, performance calculations, and fee calculation to optimize investment portfolios.

The platform supports single and mass order initiation and bulking for efficient transaction execution. Its advanced risk management capabilities help assess and manage risks effectively. Reporting functionalities allow BOV to provide clients with current investment information. Additionally, Straight-Through-Processing workflows aim to minimize operational risks.

Simon Azzopardi, Chief Personal & Wealth Officer at BOV stated: “We are excited to partner with Profile… Axia Suite will allow BOV to deepen our understanding of clients’ investment needs… This platform marks a significant advancement in our Investment Services.”

Aris Iliopoulos from Profile added: “We are honoured that Bank of Valletta p.l.c. has selected our internationally awarded investment management platform… We are confident that Axia Suite… will make a significant contribution to BOV’s future success.”

The choice of Axia Suite aligns with global trends where financial institutions seek robust solutions for enhanced productivity and client service.
