BANK OF GREECE: Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-August 2020

Bank of Greece issued the following announcement.

In January-August 2020, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €11,194 million, compared to a deficit of €2,362 million in the same period of 2019. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €26,530 million, compared to €30,096 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €37,045 million, from €33,946 million in January-August 2019.
