The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's benchmark index, SOFIX, exceeded the 900-point threshold in February for the first time since September 15, 2008. The index reached 904.25 points during the month.

Turnover on the exchange saw a significant rise of nearly 40% compared to the previous month. Additionally, there was a 14% increase in the number of transactions.
