Croatia Airlines has partnered with Airbus to present the A220 at the Istanbul Airshow 2024, held at Ataturk Airport from September 26 to 28.
At the event's 14th edition, Croatia Airlines is showcasing its first new Airbus A220-300 aircraft. This aircraft was ceremonially welcomed in Zagreb at the end of July and entered regular service in early August. This marks the beginning of the airline’s fleet renewal project, which aims to include a total of 15 new Airbus A220 aircraft by 2027.
Representatives from Croatia Airlines will share their experiences using the aircraft in regular operations during the airshow.
The first new Airbus A220 from Croatia Airlines has a seating capacity of 149 passengers, carries the registration 9A-CAE, and is named Zagreb. The Airbus A220 is noted for its efficiency and low noise emissions. It features an innovative cabin design with wide seats, a high ceiling, a wider aisle, more legroom, increased overhead stowage space, and large panoramic windows.
The Airbus A220-300 also sports a refreshed visual identity aimed at enhancing passenger experience. The redesigned logo and new livery emphasize quality, safety, travel comfort, and hospitality. The logomark design now aligns more closely with the tail design of the aircraft.
Participation in this airshow is part of Croatia Airlines' celebration of its 35th anniversary and 20 years as a member of Star Alliance.
