AEGEAN Airlines recently announced a strategic partnership with Giannis Antetokounmpo, an international basketball players who embodies the airline’s goals of promoting Greece and Greek perseverance throughout the world.

“Giannis crossed thousands of miles to reach his goal. And he does not get complacent. He constantly raises the bar,” said AEGEAN Executive Vice Chairman Eftichios Vassilakis. “We, at AEGEAN, do the same: We strive to bring the passengers who place their trust in us, closer to their dream destinations that are thousands of miles away. And we strive to become even better each day. So, today, we are joining forces with Giannis and embarking on a joint effort to promote and take Greece even further, across the globe.”

The partnership will kick off with Antetokounmpo’s participation in the airline’s Greece by Greeks initiative, which allows Greeks to share the rich culture and traditions of their country with global viewers.
