MDCorp has signed a letter of interest to acquire three companies that make up European Distribution Medical Systems (EDMS).

The companies under the EDMS umbrella include Terramed Ltd., Intellemed Ltd. and Neuraxon, Ltd, according to a press release issued by MDCorp. If the acquisition is successful, EDMS will be considered a subsidiary of MDCorp.

EDMS operates in six counties in the European Union with sales channels into the United Kingdom, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan, earning an estimated $5.6 million annually, according to the press release. Acquisition of EDMS will allow MDCorp to offer new products and services throughout its growing customer base and new locations, according to the press release.
