The Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges presented the fourth annual Slovenian and Croatian Investor Days Conference, facilitating meetings with 15 listed companies and international investors.
"Since we started organizing this event with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange four years ago, the number of investors and meeting requests has been constantly increasing, especially of foreign investors,” Ivana Gažić, Zagreb Stock Exchange management board president, said in a press release. “This is a good indication that such events are needed, and it also shows the importance of the joint presentation of our markets."
This year’s conference featured eight Slovenian companies and seven Croatian companies. Thirty investment companies and banks and 56 analysts and investors – hailing from Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, China, Croatia and Slovenia – requested a record 255 meetings.
“The joint activities of the Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges have borne fruit and we have seen many interesting new developments on both markets,” Aleš Ipavec, Ljubljana Stock Exchange management board president, said. “I am extremely pleased that our cooperation in this event is so successful and has turned this event into a staple where important local and international investors participate every year and their growing number confirms the attractiveness of both markets.”
