Banca Intesa has launched the Intesa Farmer competition to recognize growers of crops and livestock.
This is the fifth year for the Intesa Farmer contest. Winners will be chosen by judges, including the president of the Slow Food Serbia movement, editors of agricultural magazines and the head of small-businesses development for the bank. Entrants will be judged on criteria such as annual agricultural-production results, the use of energy-efficient gear for crop growing, hail protection for fruit and the breeding of purebred cattle, according to a press release on the Banca Intesa website
All registered agricultural producers who are clients of Banca Intesa can enter the competition at any of the bank's offices in Serbia or online at www.bancaintesa.rs.
The competition runs until Aug. 1. Winners will be announced in the fall, and will each win a trip to an international agricultural event in their respective specialty areas.
