The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) recently hosted a delegation from the Greek-Chinese Economic Council to discuss the future of the port and areas where the two organizations can further cooperate.
The Greek-Chinese Economic Council delegation was led by Chairman Fotis Provatas, while PPA was represented in meetings by CEO Cpt. Fu Chengqiu. Discussions centered around the new PPA management and how it could work with the council. Specifically, Chengqiu outlined plans for positive developments Piraeus Port’s near future, and PPA and the Council agreed to more closely cooperate to allow for easier facilitation of business transactions between Greece and China.
Chengqiu was joined in his representation of PPA by Director Athanasios Liagkos, who also serves the company as a management consultant.
The Greek-Chinese Economic Council delegation consisted of Chairman Fotis Provatas, Secretary-General George Koumantakis, Director Nicolas Theodoridis, Director Apostolos Kamarinakis, Member of the Council Nikos Vernicos, Financial Auditing Committee Chairperson Nana Spyropoulou and Financial Auditing Committee Member Takis Tsilimigkas.
