Global Finance magazine recently rated
Privredna Banka Zagreb the best bank in Croatia in its World’s Best Banks 2017
rankings.
The rankings will be published in the magazine’s May issue.
Each year, Global Finance evaluates banks in
more than 150 countries, with the magazine’s editors
selecting winners based on consultation with industry stakeholders like
corporate financial executives, analysts and banker and banking consultants from
those countries. Global Finance’s rankings also consist of a poll of its
corporate readership.
The magazine selected Privredna Banka
Zagreb, an Indesa Sanpaolo Goup member, based on the bank’s efforts to attend
customers’ needs, its accomplishment of goals and its advance planning for
future success. The bank hopes to use this award to spur further innovation in
terms of competitive products and services, with the goal of offering Privredna
Banka Zagreb customers greater service and satisfaction, the company said in a release.
In selecting winners, the magazine included
objective criteria including assets growth, profitability, geographic reach,
strategic relationship, new business development and product innovation. Global
Finance also looked at subjective criteria, drawing on the opinions of equity
analysts, credit rating analysts and banking consultants, among other banking
industry professionals.
